a note on the use of Creative Commons

Part of ensuring the collaborative remix-ability of the festival is the use of a Creative Commons license. Since the festival begin, integrating a CC license for the whole project - the videos and the images used - has enabled the opportunity to freely post the contents of the festival on multiple websites. It has made spontaneous screenings possible. It has allowed for a shared understanding of what producers, venues and audiences can expect from the 100 second film festival project.
